1. Information We Collect
SmartSchool collects information you provide directly — such as school name, administrator contact details, and staff and student data you import into the platform. We also collect usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the product.
2. How We Use Your Data
Data is used solely to deliver and improve SmartSchool services. We do not sell your data. Student and staff records are stored in fully isolated, per-school databases — no data is shared between tenants.
3. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on managed MongoDB infrastructure hosted in India. Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We maintain audit logs of all administrative actions within the platform.
4. Data Retention
Your school's data is retained for the duration of your subscription. Upon account termination, data is retained for 30 days to allow export, then permanently deleted.
